Hitachi's μ-Chip

the size of ¦Ì-Chip (comparing with grain of rice) μ-Chip is the smallest non contact radio frequency identification chip in the world with the size of 0.4mm2.This kind of chip will be unchangeable after their output from factory because of the writing process of unique ID number into ROM by which can ensure the high accurateness of data and the function of anti-fabrication. Each ticket can be offered an identification number by embedding this kind of chip into it for the purpose of anti-fabrication. Furthermore, it can offer the ticket-holder book and other more various and considerate relative information service by the management of the ID number to meet various requirements of all ticket-holders.

The ticket of 2005 World Expo hold in AICHI Japan has adopted μ-Chip technology and was greatly appraised by public.(the total amount of ticket issued is 2,500,000 and the badness rate is only 0.0017%)

Because this kind of chip has the character of non contact, it can be used for the quality management of the products, the tracing of food and goods as well as the management of supply chains besides entrance management and providing ticket-holder various service.
