Cooperation

One of the important missions of the HCR&D is to build up an effectively cooperative relationship with the top-ranking universities and research institutes in China, to improve and enhance the technology level. Up to now, HCR&D has established cooperation with Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai JiaoTong University, and Chinese Academy of Sciences in various forms.

Tsinghua-Hitachi Ubiquitous IT Joint Research Laboratory

HCR&D together with Tsinghua University set up Tsinghua-Hitachi Ubiquitous IT Joint Research Laboratory in 2001 to conduct research on Mobile IPv6.

Cooperation with Fudan University

In 2004, a contract of cooperation was signed with Fudan University to perform joint research in e-Business and WAP service fields.

Cooperation with JiaoTong University

In 2004, HCR&D with the Software Institution of Shanghai JiaoTong University constructed a joint laboratory to do the application research related to digital home appliances.

BUPT-HITACHI joint laboratory

In Sep. 2005, BUPT and Hitachi established the cooperation about joint research in optical fiber communication area.

Cooperation with Chinese Academy of Sciences

Hold Mobile IP Technology Forum with Chinese Academy of Sciences (Jul. 2001)
