Thanks to the support from the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, HCR&D passed the certification to "Science and Technology R&D Institution in Beijing" soon after its foundation.

May 9, on the opening ceremony of the new company, Mr. Li Jintao, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, issued the Certificate of Science and Technology R&D Institution in Beijing to the new company and promised that the Beijing Municipal Government would provide more conveniences to facilitate the development of foreign funded R&D institutions in Beijing.
