Feb 25, 2005, the China Mobile IPV6 Deployment Seminar was held at the Guohong Hotel, Beijing with the theme of mobile IPV6,providing a dual communication platform, enabling more foreign experts to learn the CNGI project and extensive IPV6 deployment in China, and giving a brief picture of the IPV6 research focuses and latest overseas IPV6 tests in international standardization organizations, including IETF, 3GPP and 3GPP2. The experts present discussed opportunities of cooperation in mobile IPV6 and next generation networks on this seminar.

Present were over 120 experts and representatives from Mip6 WG, IETF NEMO WG, China Telecom, China Mobile, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Telecom Research Institute, university research institutes, MOTOROLA, Nortel, ZTE. This seminar was jointly held by the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the R&D Center of Hitachi (China) Ltd. and promoted technical communications between IETF and China.
