The word "Ubiquitous" of the meaning said, "Exist in everywhere"is given to the name of our laboratory. And, we research and develop digital home appliance equipments used in our usual life. Concretely, we mainly develop the common platform of the embedded system used with those equipments such as digital television. To adapt that platform to the digitalization of television broadcasting in China, we research and develop element technologies of a digital television system now. And in the future, we also want to develop DVD camera and HDD video recorder and other digital appliance equipments.
Moreover, we are developing based on the cooperation of the researcher and the engineer in Japan now. Hitachi of Japan has already produced many digital appliance products including a digital television and which used in many places. We want to make efforts to strengthening and the technical education etc. of the system of the research and development in the future so that Chinese researchers can research and develop originally products for Chinese market by themselves.
We want to have matched to the market trend of China, and to research and to develop the technologies and products which have user friendly interfaces. We hope Hitachi's digital home appliance products can make many Chinese people happier.
